swear upon

why do people nowadays have difficulties on trusting someone?
its just soo hard to get people to trust us,
they'll make you swear upon God or holy book.
you want me to swear? okay fine as you said it;
you want me to prick ma finger and mingle my blood with yours and swear on the ghost of my dead aunt Tillie?
sometimes the safest thang is to trap maself in locker room
and not getting involve in any situation.
is that good enough?
that's the only way im safe from any crucial, critical situation.
