AQUA SURF SHOP PRESENTS

"SUMMER IN THE CITY"



San Francisco, CA - Aqua Surf Shop is pleased to announce its third annual major summer fundraiser, the fashion show "Summer in the City." As a benefit for Edgewood Center for Children and Families, this event represents Aqua's ongoing efforts to support a good cause in the local community by creating a vibrant, highly stylized setting showcasing the hottest summer styles and newest fall trends in a wide range of swimwear and sportswear.


Get your fashion fix and do a good deed at the same time by attending a fabulous night of catwalking, renowned DJs, original artwork, and an afterparty you won't want to miss. All proceeds from the show will go towards supporting Edgewood's Programs; in return, you'll be treated to previews of new looks from brands like RVCA, Nikita, Element, and L-Space, as styled by Aqua's newest team member and women's buyer, Lisa Beach.

Edgewood works with children and families to overcome severe challenges like abuse, neglect, mental illness, and family crisis. What began as a Gold Rush orphanage more than 150 years ago is now a nationally recognized, multifaceted agency. Mark your calendar for "Summer in the City," hosted by 111 Minna Gallery on Thursday, August 9, 2007. Tickets are $12 dollars and available at both Aqua Surf Shop locations. Doors open at 7:30/ show begins at 8:30. Treat yourself to delicious drinks, great music, and a sneak peak at all Aqua has in store for you - but most , your contribution will last much longer than one night by making a lasting, positive difference in the lives of your fellow San Francisco residents.
