Biography

A Paperthin Heart, formerly known as Ending Stories, was formed in late 2006.

APH's music is basically sound the average punk rock sound and with influences of other post-emo music.

APH consist of 5 members which each of them plays the normal role of a 5-piece band. It started out with Ridzwan, Fazrul and Gary were from a band named Fedora 11 playing post Blink 182 music.

These trio realized their interests in a different genre and decided to pull in Nicholas and Aniki Arippin who were close friends of Ridzwan.

Nick and Aniki were from a minor band without a name [and that is not funny].

As they were closing in to PunkRock Attack at GasHaus on 25th Feb, Gary had some basketball tournament [which is so not funny again] and he couldn't commit.

Thus, the band was in a very critical situation [aka kanchiong state] without a proper singer as the other band mates can't sing with their mouths open.

Due to kanchiongness, Aniki can't sleep and decided to call Lanny to give him a try on the vocals. Lanny(me) used to be a popular singer in his secondary school & belonged to a small minor partically band. After the okay-okay performance at PunkRock Attack, we decided that Lanny(me) was doing great for us and he became permanent.

And together with Lanny, we hope to do what we like most for punk rock. Insyallah...
